The double room was clean and cozy with a private bathroom, flat-screen TV, and USB charging ports. The restaurant served fantastic food. the homemade yogurt and fresh fruit at breakfast were top-notch. There’s a nice park nearby for walks. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and the parking was ample. Enjoyed the beautiful decor too.

I found the area so peaceful with a massive park just a few steps away for lovely morning runs. It was a short walk of about 1.5 km to reach the beautiful Wakefield Cathedral, which really added to my city strolls. the hotel had all the modern conveniences I needed, including USB ports by the bed which made my stay as a single traveler very comfortable.

The steep stairs could be quite a challenge for seniors or those with heavy luggage!!! A more reliable internet connection would greatly enhance the stay experience, as it was disappointingly inconsistent!!!

The room was really well presented, very clean, and I loved the little touches like the reading light and USB charging ports by the bed. Had a meal that was fantastic and really recommend it, trust me, you won’t regret it!

The homemade yogurt at breakfast was a real treat, creamy and tart, paired perfectly with fresh fruit! The beds were comfy, and the modern, quiet rooms made me feel right at home. The staff even packed my breakfast to go – how lovely is that?

Though the bathroom setup could use some love, especially for us aging folks. Plus, parking can be a hassle, especially if you end up on the steep incline. Can't have it all, I suppose!

had a lovely stay at holmfield arms. rooms were fresh n comfy, and the staff were super nice n helpful. the food in the restaurant was really good, especially for dinner. great that they sorted us out with a new duvet when my grandson had a little accident. the hotel grounds were nice to walk around too.

the internet connection was a bit dodgy, and i wished the bathroom was better done as it felt outdated.

we had a fantastic stay at greene king. the double room was spotless and smelled amazing, which my partner loved. the pub area was very inviting, with great food and polite staff. the location is perfect, we had a peaceful night without any road noise.

Comfortable room, friendly staff, with the added delight of a good restaurant where the food was nicely served and very acceptable, making our two-night stay enjoyable while being just 34 km from the nearest airport.

I had a lovely stay in a well-presented double room that was impeccably clean. The thoughtful touches, like the reading light and multiple USB ports, made my visit comfortable and convenient. The meals were delicious, especially breakfast, which had a delightful selection. I did find the pillows a bit too hard for my liking, so that could be improved.
